Easy Toddler Tissue Easter Egg!

I've been trying to find fun, easy and fairly mess free projects to do with Miss E while I am still on maternity leave. There are so many great ideas on Pinterest, but honestly it takes too long to muddle through them, a lot of them are collections that I have to click through anyway, and most of them are geared towards older kids.

So I had some extra tissue paper lying around and wanted to use it to make a 4-leaf clover for St. Patrick's Day- but I thought an Easter egg would be easier to start with since E has really never done anything like this before.
It was SUPER easy! I googled egg outline, saved the image to a document and printed it on cardstock. Then I got 3 different colors of tissue out of the closet and cut them up (you could tear them too, that might be part of the fun). Then I put the glue down on the inside of the egg and showed her how to stick the tissue down. She quickly caught on and had fun!
Near the end I showed her the white spots and asked if she could stick a piece of tissue there.
She did great, and it turned out so cute! I dated it with her name and age and hung it on the fridge! Super easy and free- my favorites!

I absolutely love reading what you have to say and take the time to read every last comment. I do however reserve the right and will absolutely use it to delete any comment that I see as negative or mean spirited... I can do that, it's my blog and this is a place of happiness and encouragement :)
